Description

Blacklights, fluorescent paints and other materials to “create a unique artistic experience for my middle school art students. I would like for my students to explore how art and science interlace by studying blacklight and ultraviolet light and how they change what we see around us; how our eyes see colors and objects differently in ultraviolet or black light. Students will then experience this change in perception firsthand by creating artwork while under blacklights and using fluorescent art materials.”
