Description:

For this grant, I am requesting funds to purchase 34 individual turntables for my clay and sculpture students. These 10-inch turntables will give my students the opportunity to more efficiently create their three-dimensional sculptures. This efficiency will be promoted as they place their sculpture on a turntable and rotate their creation 360 degrees. This full rotation of the sculpture will allow students to evaluate and reflect on their creation better, which will increase their academic success throughout the curriculum. These turntables will also enhance student creativity and engagement, because they will have a more efficient tool to use during the creation process.
