Description:

This grant will provide percussion instruments for the middle school vocal music programs, enriching student learning by combining choral singing with hands-on rhythmic experiences. Adding percussion expands the traditional choir setting into a more interactive, engaging environment where students can explore the connections between rhythm, melody, and text.

This grant will also provide a portable sound system to enhance middle school choir activities, including karaoke in the classroom and caroling in the community.
