Description
This grant is to help provide unique learning opportunities for all students during small group sessions and rotation stations. Having a class with varying abilities can make planning very tricky; however, having resources readily available, that provide enrichment as well as offer remediation can make all the difference in a busy classroom environment. “If a child can’t learn the way we teach; maybe we should teach the way they learn!” This quote by Ignacio Estrada explains why this grant is so important. Each child learns in their own way. Some enjoy being up and moving (kinesthetic) while others prefer to hear the lesson (auditory) in a small group setting. As a classroom teacher, I have to find ways to meet each child’s needs and still keep learning engaging and relevant.
