Prairie Creek Library Media Center is striving to provide opportunities for 21st Century Learners to become productive citizens through information and technology literacy skills within content areas. The Panther Creative Learning Studio grant would provide our 21st Century Learners the skills needed to become forward thinkers: Life & Career Skills, Learning and Innovations Skills and Information Media & Technology Skills. Learners of all ages would have the opportunity to collaborate and use critical thinking skills through this innovative opportunity. Digital, visual and textual skills are important for 21st Century learners for their personal, academic and career success. Prairie Creek Elementary Library Media Center embraces the active, engaging learning environment needed for students to create and collaborate on projects. Through the participation in the Kansas Can School Redesign and the Innovation Academy, the Panther Creative Learning Studio will provide a collaborative culture essential to help learners by incorporating multiple learning styles.
