I am asking for funds to replace the kiln shelves for our two ceramic kilns, as well as a kiln shelf cart to replace the rusted metal shelf we currently have. The cart has size-specific dividers for the shelves, which hold them upright and three shelves for the kiln shelf supports and stilts.

I would guess that most of the current shelves are 15+ years old. Most of the current shelves have been damaged in glaze firings, scraped, sanded and re-primed for use. Because this has happened so many times over the years, the shelves have deep gouges in them that make it difficult to keep projects level during the firing process. We need 6 half round shelves for the smaller kiln and three for the larger kiln.
