Description:

History comes alive when students can explore hands-on primary and secondary sources without having to travel across the globe! I would like to create a "trunk" of artifacts so my students can learn more about Ancient Greece. This grant will allow me to purchase hands-on materials so students can take their learning of Ancient Greece to a deeper level. Students will collaboratively explore the different artifacts in the trunk to reinforce and expand their knowledge of Greece that we did in the classroom. I will ultimately be able to bring a museum experience to my classroom in Andover Middle School.
