Description

This grant will provide my students with sets of VersaTiles that offer cross-curricular, hands-on practice. It is a self-checking system that will help promote independent thinkers, problem-solving and creates a safe learning environment that increases student confidence. VersaTiles will strengthen concepts in math, literacy, science, & social studies. These skills include addition & subtraction, foundations of multiplication, place value, length, time, money, shapes and attributes, phonics, fluency, writing conventions, vocabulary, comprehension skills, science and social studies informational text and comprehension skills!
