Description

This grant would provide all three kindergarten classes with reading and math manipulatives to help students build a strong foundation. This grant would help students for years to come as these manipulatives will last for many years. As a kindergarten teacher, it is crucial to be able to teach foundational skills in creative and innovative ways. By offering students a variety of hands-on experiences with manipulatives, it provides them with an opportunity for meaningful learning through purposeful play. These foundational skills provide each student with a strong start to their academic career. Our students enjoy a differentiated learning experience daily, and we strive to accommodate all learning styles. Using manipulatives is a perfect way to reach all of our learners, no matter their prior experiences.
