Our grant is requesting the funds to support the purchase of the equipment for our new Algebra 1 in Manufacturing Processes, Entrepreneurship, and Design (AMPED) course. This course provides a new way for students to engage in the concepts of Algebra 1 by providing a hands-on approach inside a student-run business. The equipment needed will be used to run a student-run t-shirt shop for the school and potentially the community.
